Last summer 2 little sisters decided that they wanted to grow their manes out to donate it to sick kids! They have been pretty excited about it for quite awhile!We are going through Pantene because you only have to have 8 inches of hair instead of the 10 inches with Locks of Love, in order to donate it! They are both great organizations, but for us it was better to go with something that didn't take us quite as long!
The time has FINALLY come and their hair has reached the needed length and an appointment has been made for the big debut! Monday the 16th! On the Locks of Love site it says that an estimated 80% of the donations are from children who want to help other children! That to me is amazing and eye opening to the unconditional love children have in them for others!Of course both of the girls said they probably won't do it again and you will see why in the next picture! Maybe when they are teens and can take better care of their own hair, but for now this is the great adventure we have tried at least once and they said they are glad and proud of themselves for doing it! :) Their parents are pretty proud too!
