...cheesecake! A Chocolate Turtle Cheesecake that is! This is the first homemade cheesecake I have EVER made and am very proud of it not only because it came out with no cracks in it, but also it has been harder to be on my feet the past few days and I usually prefer cooking big meals over baking. It tasted pretty darn good too! Of course Bria turned her nose up to it, but all the other kids said the recipe was a keeper. Chad had two slices even!
I usually prefer to make meals over baking partly because it is so messy and quite honestly I would rather have someone else come clean it and I am also not a HUGE sweets fan unless I am in the mood or it is ice cream! :) I like to try new recipes and learn new things and this year one of my New year's Resolutions is to try my hand at more baking/cooking.
I can't wait to try my hand at another cheesecake. It was actually kind of fun! Maybe for a girls' night! Anyone wanna join?
