You see the creepy crawly nestled all snug in the remotes? Yeah, goosebumps came to me too!!!!Warning: Bugs were harmed in this photo, but were respectively and quietly disposed of!!!
Good thing I looked down before I snatched one of the remotes! I am just glad it didn't have babies all over it's back...that'd of been quite a mess! It was our luck that week to have killed 2 mama spiders with their babies and you can't see those little things right off the bat so they scatter fast! You should've seen the kids jumping up and down pounding the ground all over, with a slew of shoes, the place hoping to hit a spider yelling "Die spiders, Die!" It was quite humorous (at least for those of us who agree that a spider that has ventured into our home has forfeited his life)! :)I greatly dislike spiders! I didn't always feel that way towards them. I grew up with tarantulas coming and going in the house when my brother became the tarantula wrangler and kept them as pets, I held them and played with all sorts of bugs growing up. We would spend hours catching crickets, grasshoppers and all types of slimy worms as fishing bait and I would swat a fly swatter in the air to stun a fly just so I could take it when it was snapping out of it and throw it into a spider web to have a real life science lab (it really was pretty cool, nothing like hands on learning)!
So why do I dislike them so much now? Well...when I was about 13 or 14 I caught 2 spiders and locked them in a jar together and 2 weeks later I went back to release them and found that one of them had died and I went to open the lid and baby spiders quickly climbed my arms and blended in with my blond hairs )in my defense you can't always tell a male from a female...at least not me)! Needless to say I FREAKED! Quickly swatted at my arms and scrubbed my arms hard that night!
