1 project down and 10 million more to go!

I got this hair brain idea to do this project from my friend, B's blog (she has some great things that she makes). I showed it to my friend, M, who loved it too and we have been working on it since January. I am just so psyched that I FINALLY have it done and hung up! We have worked on it here and there, but today I was so close to getting it done that after I had to leave M's house I decided to get the kids busy doing something for quiet time and finished!!!Now I have to go back to the school work, but the escape was fun while it lasted!
I have to say that I am kinda bugged with the initials for me and dear hubby, but I won't bother changing them now. I think that they might look better with our name initials, not for mom and dad!:) What do you think?


We would've had it done a lot sooner, but we both have been crazy busy with sick kids or everyday things as well as my school and her very busy calling as the Enrichment Counselor in her ward. It also took us awhile to figure out what we wanted to do for the tags and I had to search for the right molding for mine. It was fun to hang out, let the kids play and have adult conversation while doing something worthwhile! :) And to see two different styles emerge from the same project! Sorry this pic isn't that great, but it was hard to get good lighting, so I had to use the flash!
